Every "TED Talks" I've watched has been amazingly inspirational, but this one takes the cake.

Sometimes if you're feeling out of sorts you can surround yourself with mementos from a time you felt normal and sorta fool yourself into feeling that way again.
Lately I've been conjuring up 1996. Which for me means: comic books, doodling, tropical starburst, microcassettes, scary movies, happymeals, toshinden, converse targas and experimental/noise/math/lo-fi bands:
Slint, Tortoise, Scratch Acid, Polvo, Killing Joke, Rodan, Sebadoh, and ummm Sonic Youth
It was exciting to stumble upon Baltimore's Monitor Records who have nabbed some of the best of the next generation of the same kind of sound.
